Started as a Sixth Sense, today NaMo Vasavi Foundation operates in various diverse fields & communities across Tamil Nadu touching thousands of lives.

NaMo Vasavi Foundation encourages the under privileged Children to obtain their educational needs, showcase their talents in different areas such as literary, Music, Dance, Sports and strives hard to make these children a positive role model for the future India.

We motivate children who obtain good marks in higher Secondary and SSLC exams in their field of Interest by enrolling them in colleges and sponsoring their educational needs, similarly children and youth who are talented and emerging in sports are also felicitated, sponsored, and supported by NaMo Vasavi Foundation.

Our Founder

S G Suryah

Dr. SG Suryah had an unwavering passion for social work since his school days, Suryah's NaMo Vasavi Foundation now operates extensively across diverse communities in Tamil Nadu, with a primary focus on the South Chennai region. Suryah has always managed to find time to Interact with the community, and to contribute as much as possible inspite of busy schedule as a practising Company Secretary.

More About Our Founder

"Karka Kasadara" is a longstanding initiative dedicated in sponsoring the education of economically backward students. From the year 2009, this project has funded more than 800 students to accomplish their educational dreams.

NaMo Vasavi Foundation's impactful "NaMo Gurukulam" project stands as a beacon of hope in educating the underprivileged, shaping a brighter future with proven effectiveness. It has been a cornerstone of the organization since its inception, aiming to bridge the educational gaps by establishing tuition centres across the areas served by NaMo Vasavi Foundation.

In its commitment to eradicating hunger, NaMo Vasavi Foundation introduces its premier initiative, "NaMo Meal" acknowledging food as a fundamental human necessity and addressing the profound sorrow of hunger across Tamil Nadu.

Essential supplies were provided to economically disadvantaged families severely affected by cyclone and lockdown measures. As part of this effort, Ration Kits were distributed to more than 300 sanitation workers across Chennai.

`NaMo Vasavi Foundation is embarking o n a transformative journey with its latest initiative, Project Thooimai. This ambitious project draws inspiration from the Prime Minister Shri.Narendra Modi's flagship program, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

About Us

NaMo Vasavi Foundation, a non-profit founded by Dr. SG. Suryah as a College First year student way back in 2009 as Sixth Sense Foundation along with his friends, NaMo Vasavi Foundation is today one of the prominent Youth volunteered organisations functioning across Tamil Nadu, working to uplift the weaker sections of the people.

NaMo Vasavi Foundation prominently engages in social activites across Tamil Nadu for the last 15 years. Right from educating the underprivleged to opening up community centers for learning and to encouraging the sports talents, the Foundation has been engaging in various activities on a regular basis.
